English 3, Post 4, 'A Meal or Food you really like'





Aubergine Lasagna
My favorite meal is eggplant lasagna. It's a way of preparing pasta, only this little variation replaces the meat and pasta (no kidding) with eggplant that is dehydrated with salt and added as slices. It has everything a regular lasagna has, i.e. cheese, tomato sauce, pasta, garlic and my favorite mushrooms. I personally like it because it is an option of a dish I like but for vegetarians and it is still tasty, plus it satisfies everyone very well.

The eggplant lasagna is rich in fiber that brings this vegetable, the same is contributed by mushrooms, a healthy substitute for the same pasta, also has many vitamins and minerals, also brings us calcium, for its high content of cheese.Although by so much cheese, can fill with grains and even bother a little, in the case of eating too much.
 Today I am also going to teach you how to prepare this dish. To assemble this lasagna we will need
  1. 3 eggplants.
  2. A can of tomato sauce.
  3. 3 cloves of garlic.
  4. 2 tablespoons of butter.
  5. 350 grams of cheese, usually Parmesan cheese.
  6. Salt.

Cut the eggplants and mushrooms lengthwise. We will take the eggplant slices and we will add a pinch of salt to them, this to be able to remove a little liquid and not to leave the lasagna all wet. Once the eggplants have been left to rest, dry them and heat them a little in a frying pan so that they are not so soft, they should be a little toasted.

Once the first part is finished, we will put the tomato sauce in a frying pan over medium heat. While it is heating, we chop the garlic and add it together with the butter to the sauce.

Once we have all the bases of our lasagna, we will proceed in a glass dish to assemble our lasagna, we start with a layer of eggplant, then the tomato sauce, then the mushrooms and finally the cheese slices, we repeat until we run out of ingredients or when there is no more space in the tray. 

Finally, we introduce the tray in the preheated oven at 180ºC and leave it for 15 minutes. After the time, let it cool a little and it is ready to serve.
